Probably at present the good number of standard water filtering tools use charcoal. The charcoal is actually obtained from the husk of coconut. The charcoal extracts the dirt particles and remove them from the water. Charcoal water filters make up about 95% of all the water purifiers ,which are in use. Because they are so simple to put in, relatively economical & take out the large number of dirt particles present in the water.
Hardly as good as our reverse osmosis water purifiers. Reverse osmosis water purifiers employ an osmotic process and a high-grade membrane to filter the water. They are more favorable filters as compared to charcoal water cleaners.
